You are smart, eager, enthusiastic, and have a great desire to succeed. Your careers began in the digital age while mine began in the analog age. You have data and information at your fingertips with a resource called GOOGLE. I had the Encyclopedia which no one remembers anymore. With data and information come power and knowledge and you have all of that at your fingertips, any time of the day or night, with just a few clicks on the keyboard. It is amazing.
Today, I want to throw down the gauntlet and share with you a challenge that I accepted from the start of my career and have issued to many over the years. With this knowledge and power, all of you represent the future growth and leadership of your company. It is your energy, enthusiasm, and dedication that will bring you and the company success.
Are you going to maximize this power and contribute to the company?
Are you going to make a difference to the bottom line of the company? The company invests heavily in you throughout your career. Are you going to be a good Return on Investment? It is all about you. How hard are you willing to work for the company and for the business? Will you be dedicated and devoted to the success of your company and in turn to your success?
Are you up for this and will you accept this challenge?
